Two years after completing the South Towne Corporate Center, Layton contracted with the Worker’s Compensation Fund of Utah to build an additional three-level parking structure on the site.
Layton installed a radiant heat snow melt system at the approaches to the structure to ensure traction as patrons enter and leave. Layton met the client’s aggressive schedule for the generator pad completion and met deadlines for the installation of the secondary power source.
Layton overcame challenges with the area’s high water table with the use of surface de-watering, perforated foundation/underslab drains and soft spots remediation.
This is the second project Layton successfully completed for the Worker’s Compensation Fund. Layton continues to develop and maintain a good working relationship with this client. |
