The Davis County Jail Expansion adds 400 beds, a new kitchen, supporting structure, video visitation and security electronics interface to the existing 200 bed Davis County Jail.
The remodel scope included demolition, reconfiguration, and reconstruction of the inmate booking, kitchen, laundry and visitation areas. Inmates’ cells consist of both masonry and precast concrete cells. The main structure boasts load-bearing masonry walls with a steel roof structure.
The jail remained in full operation during the entire construction period. |
