Ashley Regional Medical Center is located in the northeastern corner of Utah in the town of Vernal. LifePoint Hospitals, one of the nation’s largest providers of non-urban healthcare, contracted Layton to construct a new hospital entry and medical office expansion at the hospital.

The project features 2-story shell space for new offices, hospital entry and future MRI as well as admitting cubicles and work room. Work included both renovation and new structure. To ensure a successful tie-in between the new and existing and minimize downtime, extensive coordination among the hospital and trades were required.

With the successful completion of this project and an excellent relationship with the owner, Layton has been awarded contracts for three additional non-urban healthcare projects for the client.
